Snapper are without doubt one of Victoria's most iconic species. Each year this species floods into Port Phillip Bay to feed and breed.
We have been arranging Tag-Along trips now for the past 3 years with Matthew Hunt Fishing Services. Matt is one of the bay's best known operators and you'll come away from any trip with him with the knowledge that he does his best to get you onto fish..........and get your onto fish he will.
While all our past trips have been aboard Matt's 7.4m Clayton Galant M.V. Reggie the addition of a bigger Clayton Galant M.V Regina means we have a few more options this season
Please note this is a snapper charter and if (and it does happen) we catch a bag limit of fish then we head in.
Fishing the bay can be cold and wet so make sure you check the weather and come prepared.
We try and keep these trips limited to no more than 6 anglers to give you the best chance of catching a few fish and taking home a feed. There are no cleaning facilities at Launching Way so you will need to clean your fish back at home.
Matt supplies all tackle and bait during the five hour charter so all you need to bring is -

Sunblock
Polarised Sunglasses
Adequate clothing and footwear depending on the weather
Food and drinks
Camera
Victorian Fishing Licence
The current per person price is $150max (price varies based on numbers) which is payable before the trip. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot.
